Harvest Home Farmer's Market has been the recipient of a Communities of Color Stabilization Fund grants since 2017.
Their first grant in 2017 allowed Harvest Home Farmer's Market to address several aspects of their capacity building needs. Grant funds were used to develop a strategic plan that would guide the organization's direction and set strategic priorities for fundraising, human resources and programmatic activities for the next three years.
In 2018, CCNSF doted Harvest Home Farmer's Market with a second grant to address much-needed management information systems. This grant allowed them to improve operational efficiency through the implementation of an integrated technology solution in a shared and secure data environment through the customization of the Salesforce database.
In 2019, Harvest Home Farmer's Market received another grant that is being used to implement a collaboration and strategic alliance project.
Harvest Home Farmer's Market succeeded in generating a list of eight potential partners, and applying decision-making criteria to prioritize which organization to approach for partnership exploration.
Additionally, training and support provided galvanized the use Harvest Home Farmer's Market’s Salesforce database to track program activities and measure performance.
